This view may have you suspicious of a little Photoshop magic, but I can assure you that it is very real and very pretty in my friend Caroline’s apartment. She lives in beautiful Boulder, CO with her man, Ryan, and together they’ve brought out the best of their fabulously retro space. When I was greeted by a fully mirrored entryway and original parquet flooring, I knew I was in for a treat.
Their sprawling living room is decked out in midcentury modern furniture with clean lines and a minimalist vibe, yet still feels super comfy and inviting. I love how these floating pieces work together to create a cozy room within a room. And the earthy textures seem to be the perfect balance to their jewel-toned blues and greens, which totally brings the outdoors in for me.
But my favorite part about Caroline and Ryan’s home is that everything they own serves a purpose, including their meticulously curated bar cart and vintage record player. These things are not just decor, but great examples of form meeting function for this very hip couple’s inspiring lifestyle ;)
P.S. They also served us French press coffee every morning (which my Ryan and I are now completely addicted to)… Thanks so much for having us, Caroline and Ryan!! Now it’s your turn to visit us in SD xoxo
