When I started experimenting with diy beauty hacks, I stocked up on all kinds of essential oils and butters. Sweet Almond Oil was one of my main ingredients for hair and skincare treatments – it’s light, odorless, and absorbs quickly.
A few weeks ago, I decided to skip the recipes and use Sweet Almond Oil as a moisturizer all on its own. Yes, I actually covered my face in oily oil and then went to bed. It seemed crazy at first, but when I woke up the next morning, I was hooked. My skin felt soft, dewy, and more even-toned. The dark circles under my eyes looked lighter and those fine lines (gasp!) seemed to be hiding. How have I not tried this before? Have I just discovered the fountain of youth? Or have I been living under a rock all this time?
It’s now been almost three weeks since I started using Sweet Almond Oil in my nighttime facial routine, and nothing but happy (and smaller!) pores so far. This treatment may work especially well for me because of my dry/combo skin type but Sweet Almond Oil is supposedly suitable for most. Here’s a little more info for the skeptical babes ;)
